Caring
On August 25, Sandy Sansing donated $100,000 to the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.
- Sansing’s donation honors the nonprofit’s tireless efforts to raise funds for childhood cancer research and bring awareness to the cause are vital to countless children’s futures.
The gift comes as Rally Gulf Coast heads into its annual observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Since 2005, Rally Foundation has given $47.5M to support childhood cancer research projects across the country.
Rally Gulf Coast was born in 2015 and has raised over $8M locally, providing resources for pediatric oncology families in the Florida Panhandle and South Alabama.
- “Mr. Sansing’s extraordinary generosity is a gift of hope to children and families in our own community,” said Jessica Siderio, Rally Gulf Coast development manager. “This $100,000 donation will help Rally continue providing meaningful support to local families while advancing our mission to fund research that leads to safer, more effective treatments with fewer long-term side effects.”
Sansing’s dealerships serve as the title sponsor for the Rally On the Runway event.
