Sandy Sansing: Nearly $1 Million for Child Advocacy

Sandy Sansing and Sandy Sansing Dealerships have donated $100,000 to Gulf Coast Kid’s House (GCKH), bringing their total lifetime giving to the organization to $977,800. As a founding member of GCKH’s Board of Directors and current Emeritus Board Member, Sansing has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s mission from its inception.
With nearly $1 million in total contributions from Sansing and his foundation, the funding enables the organization to maintain its comprehensive approach to child protection and abuse prevention services.
Perfect Timing
GCKH is currently expanding its mental health programs and transitioning its sexual abuse treatment services from Lutheran Services of Florida to in-house operations.
“We’re so grateful for this,” said Stacey Kostevicki, Executive Director of Gulf Coast Kid’s House. “We’re expanding our mental health programs, so this is perfect timing, and we very much appreciate the support.”
Background: GCKH is also transitioning its sexual abuse treatment services from Lutheran Services of Florida to in-house operations. GCKH serves as the only children’s advocacy center. The organization provides a collaborative environment where law enforcement, child protection services, medical professionals, mental health specialists, and victim advocates work together under one roof to respond to cases of child abuse and neglect.
Impact by the Numbers
In 2024-2025, GCKH provided services to over 4,000 abused and neglected children. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, GCKH relies heavily on community support, receiving 75% of its funding from local donors and businesses.
“When I got involved on the Board of Directors, I found out what a need there is in this community,” Sansing reflected. “On behalf of our family and dealerships, we’re honored and thrilled to present this $100,000 to go toward helping these kids and the wonderful staff at Gulf Coast Kid’s House.”
The donation supports GCKH’s expanded mental health and counseling services for children in Escambia County.
