Wilson Robertson kicked incumbent Mike Whitehead’s butt for Escambia County District 1. It was never even close. It may be the worst showing for an incumbent – who wasn’t under indictment – in the history of Escambia County. Whitehead’s political career is over.
Whitehead and McNesby losing signals the end of the Good Old Boy politics. We need to keep an eye out for it coming back, but the Wisconsin hunting buddies – Touart, Whitehead and McNesby – are officially toasted.
