Sen. Dennis Jones, R-Treasure Island, is the economic development vice president at St. Petersburg College.
Sen. Charlie Justice, D-St. Petersburg, is a student adviser at USF.
Former Rep. Joe Pickens, R-Palatka, is the new president of St. John’s River Community College. Last year, as budgets were being slashed for community colleges, Pickens steered $7.4-million to the school.
