Ray Sansom (R-Ft. Walton Beach) takes over as Speaker of the Florida House on Nov. 15. He tells the reporters that he doesn’t believe a special session is needed to deal with the $700 million state budget deficit. Sansom thinks Gov. Charlie Crist’s action to have the state agencies to hold back 4 percent of their spending may be enough.
