IN cover boy, Joe Scarborough, Congressman Jeff Miller and Collier Merrill entertained potential GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson last night at The Fish House. He was there for a private gathering at in the “Bait Shop” but worked the entire restaurant shaking hands. Others at the dinner were Jim Cronley, Jim Reeves and Eric Nickelsen.
Thompson was over in south Baldwin County on vacation – another tourist lost to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach – and called Jeff Miller to set up a gathering. Of course, Collier Merrill has happy to offer his restaurant which has hosted nearly every major GOP politico that has visited our area since it opened nearly ten years ago.
