The Scenic Highway Foundation Board is excited about its first ever Trolley and Boat Tour — 1:45-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.
The foundation calls it a “chance to see Pensacola’s Scenic Bluffs Highway as you have never seen it before.”
Schedule:
1:45 p.m. Park on Commendencia Street (near ferry dock south of Main) and board the trolley
2:00 p.m. Trolley tour of 11-mile expanse of Scenic Highway – learn history and lore of the highway
3:30 p.m. Days Inn at Cervantes & Palafox for a wine and food reception and a short annual meeting of the Scenic Highway Foundation
4:30 p.m. Board trolley and return to Commendencia Slip where you will board the National Park Service ferry for a cruise up Pensacola and Escambia Bays to see a view few ever get to see–our spectacular red coastal bluffs from the water at sunset!

Proceeds will be used to remove invasive species from Chimney Park and provide seed money for a hiking/biking trail along the highway.
