Superintendent Malcolm Thomas has named Kim Stefansson to the position of Public Relations Coordinator for the Escambia County School District. As a former teacher at Bellview Middle as well as Longleaf, Lincoln Park, Montclair Elementary Schools, Ms. Stefansson brings not only a multitude of classroom knowledge to the position, but she has also experience gained from a career as a Navy Public Affairs Officer. In addition, Ms. Stefansson was a Parent Liaison for the Exceptional Student Education Department.
Superintendent Malcolm Thomas stated, “We are excited to add this facet to our District’s communication program. Ms. Stefansson believes in public education and we look forward to telling our story and working with our local media and community.â€
