Schools with kindergarteners not ready

The 2023 kindergarten screenings show us where we need to focus on helping parents prepare their children for school. When School Superintendent Keith Leonard presents his “corridors of concern” to the Escambia County Children’s Trust next month, we will see what neighborhoods feed these schools.

Here are the elementary schools with less than 40% ready for kindergarten. For these schools to have an average 50%, they needed to have more 122 students ready.
