Scott is slipping again in approval rating, may need a new dog

Scott
The latest poll by Public Policy Polling shows Gov. Rick Scott’s approval numbers have declined dropping to 33 percent, with 57 percent disapproving of him. Two months ago, his approval/disapproval percentages were 37 and 48.

Back in 2010 after he won the GOP nomination in 2010, Scott announced on Facebook that his family had rescued a Labrador retriever, which he named Reagan. The dog disappeared from public view not long after Scott was sworn.

Last week, reporters started asking about the dog. Scott’s communications director refused to answer. Finally on Monday, Scott told reporters that he had given the dog away.

It may be time for him to find another dog.

On the Democratic side, Charlie Crist has seen his favorability rating soar to 70 percent. It was 44 percent in September. He will crush Alex Sink in a primary for governor — 52-18 –trailed by Pam Iorio 13 percent, Buddy Dyer 4 percent, Nan Rich 1 percent.
