Governor-Elect Rick Scott is sending an exciting and experienced team of Health Care professionals on a fact-finding mission to help him identify ways to reduce the size of government, lower health care costs, transform the delivery of health services and better meet the needs of those most vulnerable in the state as he implements his plan to create 700,000 jobs over the next seven years.
Scott has tasked the team with identifying innovative ideas from the private sector, success stories from other states, cost-saving opportunities and legislative priorities that will assist him as he implements his 7-7-7 jobs plan.
Citing the need to get-to-work on meaningful health care reform, Scott said he was pleased to have such a dynamic team of this stature and diversity identifying opportunities to make health care more affordable for Florida families.
