Support Second Saturday – DIB event to promote local businesses along Palafox St. Every block on Palafox Street between Wright and Main streets will showcase a unique act – from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
During the 8-hour event, more than 20 retail stores and restaurants will feature product demonstrations, sidewalk sales and one-day specials.
A special performance by the Santa Rosa and Escambia Twirlers in Martin Luther King Plaza will be held from 12:30 to 1 p.m.
Other family-friendly entertainment will include: Guitarist/singer Ron Byrd; singer songwriter David Bumgarmer; magician Al Grimm; character artist Brandon Delles; break dancers Jaimie Gonzalez; Turki Hussien; Devin Bonner; Teen Shakespeare Pensacola Little Theatre performers and caricaturist Linda Bolen.
Parking is available in the Jefferson Street parking garage, within walking distance from Palafox Street.
The monthly event, to be held the second Saturday of each month, is free.
