Proceeds from the walk will benefit UWF Active Minds and their mission to advocate for the mental well being of other students. UWF Active Minds hosts this walk annually to raise awareness about suicide prevention, provide resources, and allow an opportunity for survivors of suicide to unite and reflect on the memories of their lost loved ones, and raise funds to continue awareness efforts in memory of Tyler Knisely, a UWF student and member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

The event is hosted by UWF Active Midns and Sigma Chi Fraternity and sponsored by Seville Quarter in memory of Robbie Behm, The InHouse Graphics, Digi Pro Media, Emerald Coast Pixie Productions, LLC, Design Master, Aloha Screen Printing, Dunn Media, Chris Jones Property Appraisers, Creative Instinct, the Davis Family in memory of John “Adam” Davis, and other donors.
