Press release: Seville Rotary’s annual Cornhole Classic will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 12 pm at Seville Quarter. This will be a 2-person team, double elimination style format tournament. All players must be 21 to compete. Trophies, bragging rights, and cool prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams as determined by the “Cornhole Official.†This is a fun, non-sanctioned event to raise funds for Seville Rotary’s non-solicited grants program, which has donated funds to local charities and community projects, including Chain Reaction and the Pensacola Humane Society. Participating teams will also receive qualifying points toward the 2015 Gulf Coast Cornhole Series presented by Kaboom Sports and Social Club.
There will also be raffle prizes for those in attendance as well as games for non-tournament participants to stay entertained. Budweiser and Escambia Bay Home Brewers will provide free beer with admission to the event for all spectators and teams.
Entry fee for a team of 2 players and 2 spectators is $100. This includes beer and food for players and spectators. Spectator entry fee is $20 and includes free beer and food.
Corporate lane sponsorships are also available for $500 and includes one 2 person team, 4 spectator entries, custom lane signage, and a custom cornhole set with bags.
