Sheriff McNesby under fire

We are starting to get more and more phone calls from neighbors upset about the lack of protection from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. Many fear retribution if they complain too loudly. The commissioners are starting to get phone calls about the poor service of the ECSO.

We also have been told that McNesby has replaced Mike Ward as head of the ECSO Perdido Key operations with Lt. Michael Amerson. Ward made the “mistake” of putting up campaign signs for Sheriff’s candidate Larry Scapecchi on his off-time.

Pensacola Beach residents and business owners are upset of the Thursday killing on the beach. They pay for their law enforcement protection. However, many days and nights only one deputy is on duty on the beach. Comm. Grover Robinson tried to warn all us that trouble was imminent, but the county commission has little control over the ECSO.
