Shop for Special Olympics

The Escambia/Santa Rosa Special Olympics team will be hosting a sale at the Bayview Park Flea Market on Saturday, July 21stfrom 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Come shop from a variety of new and used items to support your local Special Olympics athletes in their endeavors.  Many of the athletes will be volunteers at this event so come enjoy interacting with the athletes while you browse.  Proceeds from this and all local events provide uniforms, training facilities and transportation to regional and state sports competitions for the nearly 500 active Special Olympics athletes in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Special Olympics Escambia/Santa Rosa provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, at no cost to the athlete or their caregiver, as a means to achieve physical fitness, self-esteem, socialization skills, and the life skills necessary to be a productive, respected and contributing members of their communities.
