Seville Rotary’s Sixth Ever Arrogant Steak Cook Off will be held on Friday, Oct. 14 at Seville Quarter, 130 E Government Street in Downtown Pensacola. Gates for the annual fundraising event open at 6:00 pm. During the annual event, 38 four-person teams will treat attendees to their mouthwatering steak creations as they compete to be crowned the most Arrogant steak-grilling team around. Spectators vote for their favorite steak to award the crowd favorite and a team of local celebrities and chefs are on hand to award a judge’s favorite.
Proceeds from the event are all distributed to charitable organizations. The 2015 event raised over $20,000 and funds were distributed locally to United Ministries, ECARE, ARC Gateway, The First Tee, Capstone, and Sunny Days. Additionally, $4,000 was donated to the American Cancer Society.
Tickets for the event are $30 in advance $40 at the door. Team entries are $300. Every team receives ten spectator tickets as well as the four team member entries. All attendees receive complementary beer courtesy of Goldring Gulf Distributing, wine courtesy of Constellation Brands via Southern Wine and Spirits, and steaks courtesy of Winn Dixie.
