Professional barbecue teams from around the U.S. gather to compete at the first barbecue contest locally to be sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KSBS). The teams compete for prize money and points.
Local barbecue enthusiasts also will be competing for prize money and bragging rights in the Backyard competition. Chloe Channell sings at 1:30 pm.
