The merchants of SOGO (South of Government) are holding their monthly SOGO Saturday, Feb. 14 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. with a special Valentine and Mardi Gras theme,

“We want everyone to start off their Valentine’s Day the right way, the SOGO way,” said Shannon Pallin, owner of Fiore of Pensacola. “Whether it’s last minute shopping for your loved one, or making this Valentine’s Day a day to remember, the SOGO District can make it happen.”

With the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras parade just hours later, SOGO merchants will help revelers get an early start on the festivities. A New Orleans-style jazz band featuring Steve Gilmore, Dave Landy and Jim Green will serenade visitors with music while The Bodacious Family of Shops serves their homemade king cake and Susan Campbell Jewelry serves champagne.
