St. Pete Times: Crist Scandal

Before the Sept. 5th, conservative Republicans and Tom Gallagher supporters were spending thousands of dollars trying to find dirt on Gallagher’s opponent, Atty. General Charlie Crist. There were persistent rumors that Crist was a homosexual, but no evidence.

Conservative GOP group -“Coalition to Protect the American Dream” – paid $75,000 for Steve Andrews, an “old Gallagher friend and millionaire Tallahassee lawyer with deep ties to Crist’s home turf”, to dig around Pinellas County.

Andrews struck out, but another Gallagher supporter hit paydirt…sealed court documents of a possible child born out of wedlock.
