The Pensacola City Council received a memo from interim City Manager Al Coby informing them that a City Council Workshop on the master developer agreement has been set for Jan. 28 at 4 p.m. As I feared, the city staff is slowing down the CMP process to a crawl.
Citizens approved the CMP in September 2006. The CMPA board of trustees approved the Land Capital as the master developer in August 2008. Nothing happens quickly in the City of Pensacola unless its a hotel lease at the airport or a lease agreement at the Port of Pensacola.
