Stallworth trial has hung jury…again

The State Attorney’s Office can’t convict Donnie Stallworth of the home invasion and the murders of Byrd and Melanie Billings. For the second time, the jury has failed to reach a verdict. The testimonies of two accomplices, Rakeem Florence and Frederick Thornton, were enough to convict Patrick Gonzalez and Wayne Coldiron, but they haven’t convinced the juries on Stallworth’s guilt.

Waiting in the wings are the trials of Gary Sumner, Leonard Gonzalez, Sr. and Pam Wiggins. Their attorneys are watching Stallworth’s trials closely.
