The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services reports that for the third consecutive year complaints filed against telemarketers for violating the state’s Do Not Call law have topped the list of Floridians’ consumer concerns. Although the number of complaints dropped by more than 500 from 2006, violations of the Do Not Call list drew 4,223 complaints.

Motor vehicle repair shops: 1,664
Credit and banking issues: 1,623
Construction industry: 1,259
Motor vehicles sales and accessories: 1,214
Other telemarketing calls: 1,104
Electronic equipment: 754
Landlord-tenant issues: 746
