Press Release: Studer Group, a Gulf Breeze, Florida-based outcomes firm, is proud to be named a 2014 Best Small & Medium Workplace by Great Place to Work®. Ranked fifth, this is the seventh consecutive year Studer Group has received this honor and the fourth consecutive year in the top ten.

Studer Group’s mission is to change the face of healthcare by creating better places for employees to work, physicians to practice medicine, and patients to receive care. The same principles that they help partner organizations to implement are hardwired within their own organization. Standards of Behavior are signed at the time of hire, quarterly training and development sessions are mandatory, and standardized meetings between leaders and their direct report take place on a monthly basis. To show commitment to transparency, all staff have access to 90-day performance plans for the entire organization and receive monthly financial reports sharing revenue, expenses and net income.

Studer Group supports work-life balance through benefits such as four weeks of paid vacation time annually, 48 hours of flexible time to volunteer in the community, and six-to-eight weeks of paid maternity leave and one week of paid paternity leave for new parents. In addition to hand-written thank you notes and birthday cards sent to employees’ homes, staff also receive a $75 gift card on their birthday (and $25 in cash for employee’s children on their birthday).
