Submit Your Questions to BP’s Top Executive When “America Speaks to BP†Live July 1 at 2:30 PM CST
Pensacola, Fla. — On Thursday, July 1 at 2:30 pm CST, Ray Suarez of the PBS NewsHour will moderate a live question and answer session between Bob Dudley, the BP executive now in charge of the oil spill response, and the general public. Google, YouTube, and the NewsHour have come together to produce a one-hour program, “America Speaks to BP.” The interview marks the first time BP has taken questions directly from the nation since BP’s Deep Horizon oil rig exploded on April 20, 2010. The interview will stream live at 2:30 pm CST on the PBS NewsHour website http://www.pbs.org/newshour/ and on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/citizentube in a special web cast. Watch excerpts of the conversation on Thursday’s PBS NewsHour broadcast airing on WSRE-TV at 6 pm.
