Councilwoman Sherri Myers called to say the Tanyard neighborhood that streets around Mayor Ashton Hayward’s Government Street Stormwater Pond are flooded.
“We paid $4 million for a stormwater pond that’s not working,” she said. “This is a mess.”
Myers said that it looks like the pond has been breached. One car has flooded out.
Citizens have called to report city streets recently repaved are having trouble removing the rain water.
