Florida is officially in a recession and doing much worse than large states. The Florida economy shrank 1.6 percent during the second quarter. It was the state economy’s worst performance since 1991.
The U.S. economy actually grew 1.9 percent during the same period. Why blame GOP? We have had Republican governor, state house and state senate for this entire decade. They are the ones in control.
They have focused on guns in employee vehicles, droopy pants and special funding for their pet projects.
