The 2014 Greater Good Festival organizers are excited to announce that this year’s festival will be held in Historic Downtown Pensacola at the Community Maritime Park (CMP).

Greater Good Festival Founder Ric Kindle offers insight as to why the festival is so popular: “It’s about smiles, laughter, community and keeping our child likeness alive,” says Kindle. “We are celebrating the children of the world, because they are the ones who are going to make it a different place.”

Festivalgoers will experience two amazing days of Family Friendly fun. Events, this year, include various children’s activities, yoga classes, and an information zone. In addition, vendor booths offering both beautiful art and delicious food will be set up along the grounds of the park. Music lovers will enjoy two days of national and local diverse musical entertainment by R&B, bluegrass, folk, reggae, contemporary singer-songwriter, and rock musicians performing at the CMP’s Hunter Amphitheater.

Local artists Rafi Perez (Rafi Was Here Studio) and Klee Galligan (Klee Angelie Jewelry Designs) are looking forward to being part of the Visual Art Zone: “We are excited the festival is being held in Downtown Pensacola at such a beautiful venue! We love the theme and energy of Greater Good and we know it will be an awesome weekend.”

This year’s festival will take place Saturday, October 11, 10am – 11pm and Sunday, October 12, 10am – 7pm. Tickets are $30 per day or $50 for a weekend pass and children under 14 are free!
