The Daily Beast: Where’s the Beef?

I covered the local reaction for The Daily Beast to President Obama’s speech. The response was more negative than I expected. People wanted to believe, but eight weeks into this crisis, people are tired of speeches.

Thane Creech, who has a vacation rental business in Navarre, said it best, ““With each attempt by BP to cap the well, our hopes were dashed. As much as I would like to believe, I don’t think we can take our hopes being destroyed again.”
