Press Release: Over 30 teams took to the water to raise money for charity, paddling their 40-foot dragon boats at the 2nd Annual Dragon Boat Festival. The Festival is hosted by Northeast Sertoma, benefits Gulf Coast Kid’s House, and brought thousands to Bayview Park for music, food and craft vendors, and a fun day of friendly competition.
This year’s event was so successful that the NE Sertoma was able to give the Gulf Coast Kid’s House $15,000! These funds allow GCKH to continue child advocacy work for victims of child abuse and to further their prevention efforts.
