The Gang who couldn’t tell time

Jamie Page attended yesterday’s press conference held by the Donovan/Nobles gang where they essentially cried that they shouldn’t be penalized for not knowing how to tell time. His tale of their journey to find someone, anyone, to accept their petition signatures is hilarious.

The motley crew of naysayers led by “Boss Walrus” Nobles and his sidekick “Temper Tantrum” Donovan traveled throughout the city pathetically searching for someone to take their box of petitions.

9:10 p.m. Home of City Clerk Ericka Burnett, who was not home.

9:27 p.m. Home of Mayor Mike Wiggins, who refused them

10:07 p.m. Pensacola Police Department, who refused them

10:25 p.m. Attorney David Jester, who refused them

10:50 p.m. Canvassing Board Judge Thomas Johnson, who refused them

11:22 p.m. Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, who refused them

11:55 p.m. The group went back to Jester’s house, who agreed to hold the petitions until Monday.

They were refused again at City Hall on Monday morning.

Next time you see Nobles, Donovan or any park opponent greet them with the words “Tick tock.”
