350 Pensacola will host a talk, “The Kuder Children’s Foundation and the Climate Crisis,†on Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. John Kuder and his wife Susan Bleiler will give this presentation on the work of the Kuder Children’s Foundation which supports an orphanage and school for abandoned and orphaned children in India. The presentation will focus on the effects of climate change in vulnerable parts of the world like the location of this orphanage and the challenges faced in trying to care for and protect these children in the face of difficult conditions like the recent typhoons and flooding that hit eastern India in the last year.
After practicing law locally for fourteen years, John Kuder served the northwest Florida community as a circuit court judge for twenty years, ten of which also included service as chief judge for the First Judicial Circuit. Since retirement from the bench, John has served as a senior circuit court judge as well as a certified mediator and is presently practicing law again with the firm of McDonald, Fleming and Moorehead. Susan Bleiler also has a background as a licensed attorney and is a master of divinity graduate from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
