This Weekend: 24 Hour Theatre Auditions and Performance

This weekend Pensacola Little Theatre gears up for its semi-annual tradition, 24 Hour Theatre. This special production is a unique due to it being six short one-act plays that are cast, written, directed, and performed within 24 hours! Auditions start promptly at 7:30 P.M. Friday night and the show performs the very next night at 7:30 P.M.

Everyone is welcome to audition, regardless of experience. Scripted scenes will be available for cold readings, or actors may bring a prepared monologue. Auditioners will be asked to stick around while the directors and writers finalize casting decisions. Everyone will know before they leave if they need to be back at the theatre on Saturday morning. Ready or not, the show begins at 7:30 pm on Saturday. General admission tickets are $10, available online at PensacolaLittleTheatre.com or at the box office one hour before curtain.

Auditions – Friday,Oct. 16, 7:30 pm
Performance – Saturday, Oct. 17, 7:30 pm

The performance will be held in the M.C. Blanchard Courtroom inside the Pensacola Cultural Center, 400 South Jefferson Street in downtown Pensacola. Ticket sales benefit Pensacola Little Theatre.

*24 Hour Theatre is a special production of Pensacola Little Theatre’s Studio 400 Series. The plays may or may not contain mature language or adult themes. Until the scripts are turned in on Saturday morning, it’s anybody’s guess what they’ll say.
