Thomas: No plan to cut SROs

Superintendent Malcolm Thomas called to say the rumors of him reducing School Resource Officers aren’t true. The District is negotiating its contract with the sheriff’s office. “I intend to put the same amount in the budget as I have this year,” said Thomas. The District has 15 SROs from the sheriff’s office, according to the superintendent.
