From Escambia Co. Public School District: The Title I Department has announced that a new on-line program entitled Parents K-12 (www.parentsk12.com) will be available at no cost to all their program parents. This new standards-aligned, web-based program gives parents targeted activities to help their children master critical concepts in the classroom. From any location with internet access, Title I parents can access more than 1,200 academic activities designed to support students in kindergarten through grade twelve (12) in Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies/History. The program will also assist older students with college and career readiness. Every activity in the Parents K-12 database can be heard as an audio file or podcast and all content is provided in English, Spanish, and Haitian-Creole. Parents K-12 provides an essential academic bridge between teachers, parents, and students.
