TLC: Benefit for children fighting brain cancer

On Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 8:00 pm, The Leisure Club in Downtown Pensacola will host “A Night of Music and Hope,” a singer/songwriter showcase to benefit children fighting brain cancer.

Every year, thousands of kids are diagnosed with a brain tumor – the deadliest type of childhood cancer. You can join in the cause to give these children a brighter future by purchasing tickets to this special night of music at The Leisure Club. One hundred percent of the ticket proceeds will go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation which funds medical research and family support.

The evening will feature music by established singer/songwriters from Asheville, NC, Joshua Singleton and Leigh Glass, with special guests Laura Ashworth and Kelley Corwin (also known as the country duo Southern Sugar). These talented musicians perform around the country to honor and celebrate the lives of these courageous children.

Tickets for this special event are $25. To purchase tickets by phone, call The Leisure Club at 850-912-4229. Visa/MC/Discover/AmEx are accepted. To pay with cash or check, please visit The Leisure Club at 126 Palafox Place. Full menu will be available during the show. Limited seating, so call today.
