This routinely gets me at the Academy Awards when we see how many great film actors or directors we have lost in a year… Turner Classic Movies did it for the year’s end. We all remember Liz but might have forgotten Peter Falk (The Princess Bride for one thing and then, the brilliant German film Wings of Desire) and … the one I am particularly sad about, Pete Postlewaite… The Usual Suspects and In the Name of the Father are in my opinion, two of the greatest films of my time.
