Tony, it may be time for soap on a rope

On Thursday morning, I was interviewed by Jim Sanborn and Don Parker on WCOA 1370 AM They asked me what I thought about BP CEO Tony Hayward’s statement that he wanted his life back. My response: “I think Mr. Hayward better get used to taking showers with soap on a rope. He might find showering a jail a very different experience.”

The behavior of BP in this catastrophe is criminal. Someone will be going to jail.

Two weeks earlier, Tony says, “Everything we can see at the moment suggests that the overall environmental impact of this will be very, very modest.”
