Tour de ‘Panzacola’ on Oct. 15

This October the Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN) is joining hundreds of archaeological organizations around the world to celebrate International Archaeology Day. FPAN is hosting a bicycling tour of historic Pensacola in honor of this day on October 15th. Tour de “Panzacola” will start at 9:00 a.m. with a short presentation at the FPAN Coordinating center classroom (upstairs) at 209 East Main Street. Participants will then head out for a tour featuring several historical and archaeological sites in downtown Pensacola and end around 12:00 p.m.

The total bike tour is approximately four miles in length. Bring plenty of water, healthy snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, your bicycle, and helmet. Space is limited, so please RSVP ahead of time to reserve your spot: 850.595.0050
