President Trump campaigned with then-candidate Matt Gaetz in 2016 in Pensacola, Florida. In 2017, Rep. Gaetz flew on Air Force One with President Trump to Pensacola for a campaign rally. In April 2018, President Trump called Rep. Gaetz an “absolute warrior†on national television.
