In 2020, to guarantee the future of our community, Escambia County voters supported the creation of the Escambia Children’s Trust (ECT) to invest in our children’s wellbeing.
Now in its second full year of operation, the ECT must earn and maintain the trust of those it serves. Thus, ECT wants to engage a wide cross-section of the community in crafting a strategic plan for the future.
The Escambia Children’s Trust needs the community’s help throughout this process to articulate a shared vision for the organization and to decide how best to align resources with that vision. Community feedback will be used to guide the agency’s investments between now and 2026.
All residents of Escambia County are invited to join the conversation at one of the upcoming Town Hall sessions:
Tuesday, Aug. 8 @ 12:30 – 2:30 pm – Molino Library, 6450-A Hwy. 95A
Wednesday, Aug.9 @ 5 – 7 pm – Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. DeSoto St.
Thursday, Aug. 10 @ 3 – 5 pm – Tryon Branch Library, 1200 Langley Ave.
