Two candidate forums this week

5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The Greater Pensacola Chamber, in partnership with Pensacola Young Professionals, is hosting a candidate forum inviting Escambia County School Board and Escambia County Commission Candidates for the Aug. 20 election.

When: 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16
Doors open at 5 p.m.

Where: Museum of Commerce

Wednesday, July 17
4:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

The League of Women Voters of the Pensacola Bay Area and Co-Sponsors will hold a free Community Candidate Forum for the Escambia & Santa Rosa School Board candidates to provide an unbiased look at the people running for office and an opportunity to hear each candidate’s responses to questions on current issues for voters.

The co-Sponsors are H.O.O.P.S., EEA, EREA, Florida Freedom to Read, Movement for Change and PYP.

The event is at the Pensacola Downtown Library, July 17, 4:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
