UnityFest returns

Press Release: Attorney Troy Rafferty and Adoration for a New Beginning Church announced today that they will again present the Annual Juneteenth UnityFest: A Community Celebration of Freedom.

Rafferty, a philanthropist and attorney at the Levin Papantonio Rafferty law firm, and Adoration for a New Beginning Church pastor C. Marcel Davis will co-host this free event for the community in the historic Tanyard District.

A Celebration of Freedom, Diversity, and Unity

Now in its second year, Rafferty and Pastor Davis are excited to build on the 2023 inaugural event and make the 2024 UnityFest even more fantastic for the entire family.

“I’m very excited to help bring this important unification event to our community once again this year,” said Rafferty.

“It’s a celebration of the people who are proud to be Americans and to be free Americans,” Pastor Davis added.

The Pensacola community is encouraged to bring their friends and family to learn about the historical significance of the Juneteenth holiday while enjoying free food, musical performances, face painting, a kid’s zone for all ages, and other family-friendly activities. New to this year’s lineup is a traditional African griot storytelling experience. Local community and health organizations will also have booths to provide information on their services.
