Tour of Historic Pensacola

Location: Historic Pensacola Village
Details: The Office of Equity, Diversity & International Affairs, along with other partners, will host a free tour of Historic Pensacola. Please register for your seat on the tour bus at https://uwfdiversity.wufoo.com/forms/tour-of-historic-pensacola/. The bus will depart from Greater Little Rock Baptist Church, 901 N A St. in Pensacola, at 1:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so register early!

An Evening with Teddy Roosevelt
Date: Saturday, Feb. 22
Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: University Commons Auditorium
Details: “An Evening With Teddy Roosevelt” features Joe Wiegand, national portrayer of our 26th President, speaking on Teddy Roosevelt and his contributions to America. Joe has portrayed Roosevelt at Chautauquas, the White House, and many historic Roosevelt venues across the United States.

His talk is free and open to the public and University community. The event is part of the 2013-2014 UWF Chautauqua Series, coordinated by Dean DeBolt, under a Pace Academic Development Grant from the Office of the Provost, Dr. Martha Saunders. Additional support is provided from the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation.
