Details: Join us on Tuesday, March 25 at 4 p.m. in Building 13, Room 230 for a photo presentation by Bonnie Samuelsen, Project Manager for Audubon Florida’s Coastal Bird Stewardship Program. Learn about rare and declining beach-nesting shorebirds and the statewide efforts to protect them. For more than 10 years Samuelsen has been involved with local and state efforts to manage the habitat of these birds. Details: #1 Bestselling New York Times Author Robert Edsel will be presenting his lecture entitled “The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History” in the Music Hall on March 26, 2014 at 7 p.m. A book signing will follow the lecture in the CFPA, outside of the Music Hall. The lecture is open to the public.
UWF and Florida Blue Partnership Celebration

Details: This event will celebrate the partnership between the University and Florida Blue, the state’s Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan. It will highlight Florida Blue’s impact on the education of Northwest Florida’s healthcare professionals through the continued support of UWF programs. During the event, Florida Blue will also discuss the Affordable Care Act and the company’s continued role as a health solutions leader. In addition, student research projects focused on the improvement of healthcare will be showcased.
