Details: UWF Historic Trust invites Tim Roberts to present, Across the Pond: The Melding of Irish and American Music Across the Centuries, in honor of Irish American Heritage Month.
Title: Friday the 13th Haunted Tours
Date: March 13
Time: 7 to 9:45 p.m.
Location: Historic Pensacola Campus
Details: UWF Historic Trust is haunting downtown Pensacola on Friday, March 13. The Seville Mayhem walking tours begin at the following times, and last over an hour: 7, 7:45, 8, 8:45, 9 and 9:45 p.m. Admission for adults is $10 and $5 for children 12 and under.
Title: Arcadia Mill Grand Reopening
Date: March 14
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site, 5709 Mill Pond Lane
Details: UWF Historic Trust will host the grand re-opening of the 37-acre Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site. Arcadia’s site grounds have been closed to the public since September 2014 as a result of construction for a new ADA-compliant bridge over Pond Creek and an associated boardwalk that connects to the nature trails. The event will showcase Arcadia’s newly constructed bridge, children’s activities, vendors, demonstrators and site tours. Event parking will be at the Pensacola State College West Lot (Intramural Sports Field) just off Highway 90. Trolleys will shuttle guests to and from the designated parking lot, which will be marked by signs and greeters.
