In its 34-year history, USA TODAY’s Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. However, today the board has ended its silence.
In its editorial, it wrote, “This year, the choice isnât between two capable major party nominees who happen to have significant ideological differences. This year, one of the candidates â Republican nominee Donald Trump â is, by unanimous consensus of the Editorial Board, unfit for the presidency.”
The newspaper said that Trump doesn’t have the temperament, knowledge, steadiness and honesty that America needs from its presidents.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump stepped up his attacks on Hillary Clinton and former Miss Universe Alicia Machado on twitter at 4 a.m. this morning.
