UWF Historic Trust: ‘2015: An Anniversary Year in U.S. Civil Right’

Dr. Susan Jans-Thomas, director of the University of West Florida Civil Rights Research Lab, presents tonight “2015: An Anniversary Year in U.S. Civil Rights,” in an event hosted by the UWF Historic Trust at 6:30 p.m.

The presentation, held at Voices of Pensacola presented by Gulf Power, will chronicle a year of events held throughout the South remembering historical events in civil rights history, including the 50th anniversary march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama and the 60th anniversary of the Montgomery bus boycott.

Voices of Pensacola presented by Gulf Power is located at 117 E. Government St. in downtown Pensacola.
