UWF Hosts Pulitzer Prize Winner and New York Times Journalist

Tonight at 6 p.m., the UWF Department of Communication Arts, School of Fine and Performing and Communication Arts and College of Arts and Sciences will host the 2012 Jerry Maygarden Distinguished Lecture. The event will feature two parts. The first will be a showing of the documentary “Page 1: Inside the New York Times” that features the transitions to a new age of journalism.

After the documentary will be a lecture from two time Pulitzer prize winner and current New York Times journalist David Barstow. His lecture will be about journalism in the 21^st century. The event is free and open to the public.
