The search committee to name the interim UWF president will narrow the choices down to two candidates within the next week. One will be from inside the university. The other will come from outside.
Based on my conversations around town, the two finalists will most probably be Ed Ranelli (inside – Dean of UWF Business School) and Pamela Dana (outside-IHMC/Jeb Bush’s economic development director).
Both are fine choices and bring different strengths to the position.
